A Rise course is not the same as a custom course
Rise can create a clean, responsive lesson quickly. It is useful when the goal is to present organized information with a few simple interactions. The limitation is that the course experience is still shaped by blocks and templates.
Custom eLearning starts with the learner task, not the tool. It can include custom screens, decisions, simulations, scoring, practice, feedback, and a flow that matches the job.
When Rise is too limiting
Rise becomes limiting when the course needs realistic decision-making, software practice, scenario branching, custom assessment logic, or a visual experience that does not look like every other block-based course.
If the training needs to change behavior, support compliance judgment, teach a process, or prepare learners for a system workflow, a custom Storyline course is usually the better choice.
